Mayor John Hickenlooper helped deliver the milestone meal to a woman in Windsor Gardens Tuesday afternoon. The mayor had high praise for Meals on Wheels for years.
Hickenlooper said his restaurants were some of the first to donate food when the program started in the 1980s.
